Mathews Kid's Kayak Camp

June 18 - 22 , 2018

and

July 9 - 13, 2018

Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This Kid's Kayak Camp is for ages 10 - 15.  There are 6 spots available in each session.  Campers will become familiar with all the parts of the kayak. They will learn how to enter and exit the kayak properly; how to maneuver with skill and how to self rescue and group rescue.  All of this will be taught in a fun, safe environment through kid friendly games.  As the week progresses and skill level increases we will venture into the different protected waters of Mathews to paddle and explore the Eco Systems of the surrounding area and hopefully find some dolphin to paddle with. On Friday we will have a Parent's day in order to show off the new skills that have been learned throughout the week.

Registration is open until June 1, 2018.

Cost:  $225 and must be paid in full to reserve your childs spot.

Where:  265 Dutchmans Road, Port Haywood (just off Davis Creek)

The cost of the trip is $550.00 /person

The price includes six nights campground fees, all parking and launch and other fees and first nights’ dinner.
